What Causes Fluctuations In My Blood Pressure?

Im a 30 year old male who s bp fluctuates a lot. I was eating out everyday. I don t smoke or drink or do caffeine. My blood pressure was 140 over 110. Dr wanted me to moniter it. It s been a few weeks I cut out all proccessed foods , and restaurants. I drink a lot more water, and cut just about every oz of salt in my died. I m running around 130 over 90. Is this better. Do I still have to worry about hypertension synthoms now? If I keep at this rate when will I hit 120 / 70

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The decrease in blood pressure is very good, it would be good if the diastolic (the lower value) would decrease further,
Hypertension is diagnosed when the systolic (upper value) is equal to or greater than 140 or the diastolic is equal to or greater than 90.

Diet changes and exercise can help decrease blood pressure, since you have altered your diet, you may want to add exercise to see if it can decrease further.

It is not possible to know when or if it would decrease to 120/70 by lifestyle changes alone.

I hope this helps
