General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
I understand your concern that your sugar levels are fluctuating.
One cause for this could be a condition called 'pre-diabetes', wherein the glucose homeostasis gets disturbed due to impaired function or release of hypoglycemic hormone insulin.
Kindly get your Fasting glucose (8 to 10 hours of over-night fast) and post-prandial glucose (2 hours after having breakfast) done. Also you need to get Glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels checked.
Kindly consult Physician with the reports for appropriate management.
Wish you all the best.
