What Causes Fluid Coming From The Arm Without A Wound?

My husband slipped on ice and broke his humerus in two places below the shoulder. At this point they havent chosen to do surgery and have put him in a semi cast, not sure what you would call it and wrapped it. his lower arm and hand are very swollen and today his lower arm started seeping a yellowish, brownish fluid from his skin. Like from his pores, and now has a bloodish color to it. No open wounds or surgery.....it s strange. his hand looks like a mickie mouse hand its so swollen. What could cause you to seep fluids like that if you don t even have an open wound ?? He s 56 and his skin is pretty thin. Has been for awhile. Worried !!

Hi,

There is definitely something wrong with his lymphatic system. Take him to an ER asap please. This might be an emergency.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
