What Causes Fluid Filled Bump On The Gums?

I have had a fluid filled bump on my top inner gums above my molar for a couple months. It gets really full sometimes, then a few days later flattens out, but is still really squishy. It started giving me neck pain, and then really terrible migraines. I have really bad teeth and broken back molars, and also all four wisdom teeth are impacted and almost halfway out. Do I have an abscess? If so, with the neck and head aches, am I getting a blood or brain infection?

Hi...
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain a fluid filled bump over the gum above the molar with a history of having broken molars there is a possibility that the tooth has got infected deeply leading to transfer of infection from the tooth to the area below the root tips of the tooth leading to pus formation and many a times pus perforates the bone and accumulates into the soft tissues leading to formation of a lump and that is a Dental Abscess or a Periapical Abscess.
You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and also get an x ray done to rule out the exact cause of the lump and in case of tooth infection either a root canal treatment or if the decay is extensive and tooth cannot be saved extraction of the tooth can help in resolution followed by antibiotics and painkillers..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
