What Causes Fluid Filled Lump In Groin With History Of Vaginal Hysterectomy?

My pcp thought a lump in my groin was a hernia. She said it had bowel sounds. On ultrasound, the lump was fluid -filled, but didn t look like a cyst. It s tubular, not round. The radiologist said its not a hernia because there s no bowel involved, and it s not a lymph node. He recommended a cat scan or surgeon. I m worried, and seeing a surgeon tomorrow. Im a 54yo woman, 4 children, tubal ligation 15 years ago postpartum thru my belly button and vaginal hysterectomy 11 years ago due to dub. I have my ovaries.
