What Causes Fluid In Ear Causing Pain And Hearing Loss?
I have this fluid in my ear, I know this is weird, but it smells like feet. My ear of course itches, REALLY bad. The fluid usually causes me to loose hearing, or have clogged hearing. This had been going on for a month. WHAT is going on?? (I have a history of ear problems, but never like this)
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of fluid in ear causing pain and hearing loss which could be due to many reasons such as punctured eardrum, accumulation of wax and severe infection in ear canal.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper examination. Doctor may order certain test like CT scan, audiometer testing and examine ear with otoscope. Doctor may prescribe stronger antibiotics at least or 10 days along with anti inflammatory medications. You should avoid touching and pricking it with sharp object. Apply warm compresses and maintain cleanness of ear canal.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
