General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thanks for putting your query over here.
From the report you have mentioned,it seems that the person has congestive heart failure due to dilated cardiomyopathy. It simply means reduced cardiac activity causing accumulation of fluid in body.Clinically correlate means the findings of report should be matched with the clinical picture of patient.
If I were your treating doctor,I would recommend,
-Referral to cardiologist. Any other investigations needed can be done, drugs like dopamine, diuretics, digoxin;aspirin can be started based on evaluation of patient. It may require getting hospitalized for some days for monitoring of patient.
-Low salt diet.
-Low fluid intake.
-Adequate rest.Sleep with head elevation.
Hope this information helps.
Thanks.
