What Causes Fluid Like Feeling In My Ear?

I am 75 yr old and I have a feeling of fluid in my ear. I ve been to an ENT doctor and he says I have NO fluid in my ear; but I can hear the fluid and have to pop my ear. I have dizziness and have fallen 2-3 times. I am desperate and have a friend that has taken triamterene-hctz. I ve been reading that I SHOULD be drinking water.

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

It might be because of excess wax depositions in ear canal rather than fluid in the canal.

You will require oral antibiotics (quinolones or cephalosporins group preferred) with analgesics and antiinflammatory with other supportive treatment.

The important thing is to diagnose first means which will require otoscope and well qualified ENT surgeon.

You must consult ENT specialist and get diagnosed first.

Don't worry you will be alright after that.

Regards,
