i just had an episode of diverticulitis..I was taken to ER where they did a MRI and told me I had the condition.was rx amox with potassium 125mg x 2 per day..and flagil 3x per (discontineued because urine was brown) day.prior to that I have noticed my body was retaining more fluids, my weight was elevated to 155 lbs..my usual weight is 145..I was told that the inflamation was due to the infection..more blood work was done ...my liver function is elevated ( was told) and my d3 is down..my knees are killing me and my hands are swollen...yet I feel better today from the diverticulitis...what could I have?
