What Causes Fluid Sensations In The Throat?
Hi, I have been feeling this sensation of fluid on the back of my throat for over 6 months, seens to have appeared after a bad cold contracted in Bali, I keep trying to cough it off but nothing come out, it is a horrible sensation and I don t know what to do. please help me!

Hello,
Sometimes the thick secretions from the back of the nose tends to stick to the back of the throat causing irritation and constant desire to clear the throat. This forceful desire to clear the throat further damage the sensitive mucosae of the the throat making things worse.
First of all, get your self checked with your local ENT surgeon to make sure that there is no other swelling or abnormality. Once ruled out then please follow the advise mentioned below (2 weeks):
1) Tab Claritin 10 mg once a day
2) Fluticasone nasal Spray 2 puffs once a day
3) Warm saline gargles twice a day
4) Steam inhalation with some Vicks in it twice a day
If symptoms persists, then please visit your local ENT doctor for further assessment and management.
