What Causes Fluids In Labia Post Cyst Rupture?

Hi, I've had a bartholin cyst on a few occasions, always on the left side. My last was surgically removed and I've had no problems since. I developed a cyst on the right side which had caused no symptoms until yesterday when it became very painful. Later that day the pain suddenly went and when I checked it had ruptured, but on the inside and the fluid has collected in the labia majora. I would be very grateful for any advice.
