What Causes Fluttering Feeling At The Bottom Of The Rib Cage?
i have a fluttering/pulsating type feeling at the bottom of my left rib cage. it seems like i can feel something sticking out at the bottom of the left rib cage where I get this feeling. It is also burning a little..off and on. and sometimes feels like something contracts or gets hard
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your concern. Chest discomfort with fluttering feeling in chest is commonly seen with arrhythmias. These are diseases of heart rhythm.. So better to first rule out cardiac arrhythmia in your case. So get done ecg, 2d echo and Holter monitoring (24 hour continuous monitoring of ecg). If all are normal than no need to worry for heart diseases. Sometimes gastritis can also cause similar symptoms. So take proton pump inhibitors (antacid). Don't worry, you will be alright, but better to first rule out arrhythmia. Hope I have solved your query. Wish you good health. Thanks.
