What Causes Fluttering In The Chest And Fatigue In One With Two Stents?
My dear one had his first stent placed in July of 2015. Had to have a second one Oct 2016. He has been a very active person all his life. Now, he is having daily episodes of feeling a fluttering in his chest and this is accompanied by a feeling of fatigue. He also complains of feeling like he s walking through mud when this hits. It usually hits when he is out doing his mornign chores on the ranch. He wakes up fine, though. It may linger through out the day or come and go. Is this side effects of medication? His heart specialist doesn t seem too concerned.

Fluttering in the heart is called palpitation. While this may be many times normal.
However for a person who has two stents and who feel fatigue and heavy with such palpitation should always be properly investigated.
A heart tape is the first thing we do to see for any heart rhythm problem. Once there is no serious problem we can use some drugs for it besides reducing stimulants like caffeine and alcohol.
But proper assessment is necessary before any step. So discuss this with your doctor.
