Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an ablation about 5 or 6 years ago and now my heart is fluttering and I'm getting light headed like I'm going to pass out. I am also in premenopause and I've heard that can cause fluttering as well. I'm really concerned and worried about this and am afraid I'm going to pass out behind the wheel or while home alone
Dear Mrs, There is some possibility that your complains may be neurologic or be connected with menopause. I would advise you to underwent holter monitoring to check whether there are still some arrhythmias. In case results will be ok, we can start to think about other reasons, but heart must be excluded at first.
Wish you good health If you have further questions don't hesitate to ask
Regards,
