What Causes Fluttering Sensation In Heart?

I have had a pacemaker implanted two and a half weeks ago,I have had a few short episodes of heart flutters since ,then last Thursday I had flutters nearly all day right up until late at night. My heart could only be described as aching after this all day.The following day there was nothing, and today I am getting a few more flutters ,not so bad.I phoned up the pacemaker clinic ,but there was no one there.
