What Causes Fluttering Sensation In The Lower Abdomen On The Right Side?

Hello I m 18 years old female and I ve just recently started feeling some fluttering in my lower right stomach what could be the cause of this? I m on birth control and I have no baby bump cause if it was a baby it would be visible right now if it s moving right? So I m curious as to what this could possibly be?

Hello,

Visible fluttering sensation may be due to peristalsis. It is normal bowel movements may visible in thin build individuals.

It may be due to hypokalemia or anxiety or abdominal wall muscle spasm or hypokalemia etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Drink tender coconut water, use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week.

Check serum electrolytes level and haemoglobin status. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
