What Causes Fluttering Sensation In The Throat?

i get a flutter in my throat it feels like air passing uncontrolled through my throat very strange sensation. I have also experienced a fluttering and racing heart, aching between my shoulder blades, constant cramping in my legs feet and sever fatigue which make me feel very low. Previous blood test showed border line hypothyroidism but my GP said the blood results would not cause my symptoms and suggested i had depression and recommended counselling. I could not see what a Councillor could do about the constant cramping in my legs, dry eye condition and felt depression was not the reason. I do Feel low and tearful but feel is due to sever fatigue and constantly feeling unwell. In the last few days i have experienced sudden onset of sickness, dizziness and loss of coordination currently taking vitamin B s tablets to try and improve energy levels, have you any suggestion. which may help.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query fluttering sensation in the throat is due to granular pharyngitis or upper respiratory tract infection. But the symptoms can also occur due to tonsillitis , thyroiditis , acid reflux or foreign body obstructionist. I would suggest you to avoid eating and drinking acidic , spicy and hot food and beverages . Do warm saline gargles. . If condition doesn't get better in 2-3 days then consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and go for swab test. Go for sputum test as well if required and start treatment as per proper diagnosis. Doctor may also examine you with the help of optic fiber . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist for acid reflux problem. Sip warm water after every few minutes.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
