What Causes Flutters In Stomach?

I am having fluttering in my stomach, I believe. It is under the middle of my rib cage. My doctor had me wear the Holter Monitor for 24 hours. he didn t see any signs of heart palpitations. Is it possible for your stomach to flutter?4 years ago I had heart palpitations. After testing on my heart they found no problems. Dr diagnosed me with underactive thyroid.I take Levothyroxin .075mgs daily

Hi,

Fluttering sensation may be due to anxiety it is called nervous stomach. Other possibilities like irritable bowel syndrome or infection or inflammatory bowel problems or hypokalemia, etc.

Avoid alcohol and smoking, avoid caffeinated drinks. Do yoga and meditation. If symptoms not improved then get it done serum electrolytes with thyroid checkup. Then consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
