What Causes Foaming At Mouth While Suffering From Diabetes?
My brother 57years -was found last nite in bed turning blue and foaming from his mouth/he is diabetic (they said his sugar was 400)he was drinking vodka plus he takes nocors -also they think he took morphine-now he is confused /unresponsive and in restraints -and his heart allegedly stopped 3times -what are his chances for recovery 100%?I am so worried for my brother
The foaming at the mouth with unresponsiveness is excessive CNS depression from the effects of high blood sugar, the effect of Norco and added up by the alcohol.
Though the outcome is unpredictable without assessing the patient, he requires intensive care of medical management for sure.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Purva Patel,
