What Causes Foot Pain After Rectal Prolapse Surgery?

I am having some mild foot pain. My foot dr. prescribed 750 mg twice a day of Nabumetone. Last Nov 2015 I had a prolaspe rectum surgery in which the rectum was taken out. Since then, I go twice a day sometimes three. I started Nabumetone on Saturday Sept 3 and found I had to go three times. Took it twice. Today in the morning I took one and just took a half of pill. Instead of the full one for the second pill time. Is the dosage of two pills at 750 mg to much to take at 1500mg? Does this have an effect on having to go more often (Stools)? There is slight pain on left side of stomach. But I also feel like I may have to go again later on. I see the doctor on Sept 14. Should I continue to take the pills till I see him? Thank you. Hello,

It is unrelated to rectal prolapse.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

Most probably it is due to conditions like plantar fasciitis.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedic and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
