What Causes Foot Pain At Night?

hello. I am experiencing sharp pain in my right foot especially at night. the pain is on the medial side of my foot and the pain is radiating up my leg. I do not have varicose veins. Do you have any idea what this ccould be. it is very uncomfortable when walking too even in well-supporting shoes.
