Hi,

Foul odor in urine can be caused by many things. Asparagus and other foods can cause urine to smell different. Urinary tract infections can also cause urine to smell different. There are rare cases of connections that grow between the rectum and bladder. This could cause gas and feces to go to the bladder and make a smell. If this continues repeatedly, it would help to see your primary care provider or a GP. Simple urine tests could help differentiate the possible causes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
