What Causes Foul Smelling Gas, Diarrhea And Decreased Appetite?

Hi, I have a 2.5 year old son who started having foul smelling gas on Wednesday, vomited 3 times Wednesday night, diarrhea most of yesterday with a loss of appetite, however has been drinking a lot of fluids (Gatorade). What may be the cause? Should he see his doctor? Btw, he still has the foul smelling gas that s really intense.

Thank you for use the website, about your question I think that you son have some indigestion, you need to act fast because he is losing fluids and salts trough diarrhea and vomiting and he can get a complication (dehydration) if you can't get an adequate hydration by oral way you need to go to the hospital, once he get stabilize his condition you can go with an acupuncturist to help to restore his digestive functions because after that episode the digestion become slow and needs time to recover their full function.
