What Causes Foul Smelling Urination While Suffering From Diabetes?

Hi Doctor,I am 67,female single.I m a type 2 dibetic. I have noticed resent a foul smell from my urane,I don t have any infection no discharge.I am on medication for 15 years urilex k and glygard for my diabetes. Please the foul smell is worrying methank u in advance

You have diabetes problem.In diabetes more chanses of infection is more. According to your complain you have problem of foul smell from urine that may be because of urinary tract infection.

Do a urine test and culture of urine with total blood cell count. .If infection is present than start a antibiotics under doctor's suggestion .Avoid spicy food consuption. Drink more water.

Consent a physician for further diagnosis.
