Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My sister in law shared something disturbing with me this morning. I have googled her symptoms but strong odor is an understatement. She says that she has absolutely no pain or any other symptoms except that when she urinates, the smell is beyond abnormal.. she has to spray, as if she has had a bowel movement. She has had three children and a few years ago was told she had a ------- bladder. I can t remember the term she used. Her bladder has dropped and will eventually need the mesh surgery to fix it.. thanks for a reply! I wish I had more details.. she has for sure been very sexually active with man you random partners since separating from her husband..
Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have UTI. Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to. Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine Alkalizer thrice daily.
Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report. Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician. Ensure to drink more water. To keep your urine dilute this will help to control dysuria.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein,
General Surgeon
