What Causes Foul Smelling Vaginal Discharge?

starting at the end of my last period, i have had a terrible smelling (like a GI bleed) pink to dark (almost black) bloody vaginal discharge. at all times the discharge smells to me like a GI bleed. between periods, the spotting has been consistent but very light. i am 45 years old and went through several rounds of IVF. could this be menopause?

Please undergo ultrasound abdomen and gynecological examination as it may be due to fibroid or cervical erosion or infection .also undergo tests as TLC DLC ESR and CRP.
