What Causes Foul Vaginal Odour Despite Having Safe Sex?

I am a female , 19 years old. A few days ago I attempted to loose my virginity and I didn t go through with it because of the pain. But now I ve noticed a weird vagina odor , even after I shower. Is this suppose to happen ? It s really embarrassing and it makes me feel dirty. He did use a condom by the way.

Understand your concern
Foul vaginal odour is due to vaginal infection mostly bacterial vaginosis or may be associated with poor hygiene after sex. After sex there is change in vaginal flora and Ph lead to increased chance of infections
Take following advice: Wash vaginal area with salted warm water 3-4 times a a day, Wear pure cotton loose undergarments, Apply aplple cider vinegar,
Wipe pelvic area after urination and sex, Tablet metronidazole, Lacto bacilli vaginally, keep the area clean. If not resolves contact the gynecologist and get the following examination done:
Pelvic examination, vaginal microscopy and culture , swab test, KOH preperation, hanging drop preperation, PCR, NAAT and ELISA for screening of other STDs.
