What Causes Foul Vaginal Odour Despite Taking Vagi-Hex?

Good morning doc. I had been diagnose last june of this year with endometrioma at my left ovary with 7.67cm in size. is it extremely dangerous for me to have this? Or how urgent to have it removed? But before it was seen by my doctor, i complained about the fouled odor underneath, so my doctor advise to use Vagihex. So i used it as prescribed and the discharge and odor was gone. But when after my mentruation again, it comes back, i am suffering from a discharge with foul or fishy smell. I had no contact at all with my partner for almost a year. Please help me. Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Smell in the vaginal area can be due to slight changes in the vaginal flora.
This do not cause excessive discharge, itching or burning.
However, you may need lactic acid treatment.
I will suggest you consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined internally and get appropriate treatment timely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
