What Causes Freezing Sensation In Left Arm?

I'm 44 years old, about 30 pounds overweight, and going thru a very stressful period of my life, as I am in the middle of a separation. I have been experiencing this odd freezing sensation in my left arm, just a particular spot right above my wrist area. The sensation comes and goes, on and off every few minutes, throughout the entire day. I'm trying not to worry, but what could be causing this? It's been going on for 3-4 days now.
