Hello Merry!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that is necessary performing a comprehensive differential diagnosis of different possible causes that may mimic your clinical situation ( cardiac ischemia, pulmonary embolism, a musculo-skeletal pain, inflammation, etc.).

For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests:

- a chest X ray study and pulmonary function tests
- a resting ECG and cardiac enzymes
- a cardiac ultrasound
- D- Dimmer levels
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation.

Further tests (a pulmonary angio CT scan or an exercise cardiac stress test, etc.) based on the above test results.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
