What Causes Frequent UTI S Without Any Symptoms?

I seem to get frequent UTI s without any symptoms whatsoever. I had one in May and was in hospital for 5 days with a PICC line and close to being septic. Had to go home on 6 wks of IV ABX. I now have another (DX by my lab work). And again there have been no symptoms.
