What Causes Frequent And Loose Bowels?

In the past 4-5 weeks, my bowel movements have become very loose and I m having a BM about twice daily. The only change in my diet is that I eat about 1/4 of an apple in the morning with breakfast and in general have been eating a moderate amount of popcorn several times a week. I take very few meds and there have been no changes in that area. I have had a colonoscopy within the last 2-3 yrs which was negative.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Pop corn can be irritating and cause irritable bowel in some. So avoid popcorn and see whether it is benefitting. Gluten sensitivity also should be ruled. This can be done by taking gluten free diet for some days and see whether it is improving. Take apple at night. This will help bowel movement in morning.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks
