What Causes Frequent Bowel Movement In An Infant?

My son is 7 month old. He is been given nan pro 2 since 10 days. Since then he started to pass stool times a day. He used to pass once daily before that. Is it intolerance? Should i change the brand? I am giving him complimentary feeds and also breast milk. Kindly answer. Thanks.

Hi,

Nan Pro is a commonly used supplement and some infants develop intolerance and loose stools. However, once daily bowel movement is not adequate and infants should pass three times a day.

You can try alternatives like Similac in case you experience intolerance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
