What Causes Frequent Bowel Movements After Recovering From Jaundice?

I have recovered from jaundice about a month ago and I am having excretion issue. Earlier I used to go to wash room once a day in the morning and I was satisfied with it but now I have to go 4-5 times and then also I am not satisfied...... What to do?

**
1. since you are in recovery phase thus importantly look out for any infection particularly 'gastro enteritis' which can cause frequent bowel movements.

2. check with liver function tests [particularly bilirubin levels since high levels can cause diarrhea] and ultrasonography of abdomen [to exclude any obstructive cause resulting in high bilirubin] to know the health status of liver

3. Take boiled water, adequate rest, and avoid tap water-milk products-raw vegetables.
