General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Hyperthyroidism can cause increased frequency of stools. Go for a thyroid function test and make sure that your hormonal status is well within the normal range. Other possibilities like gastroenteritis and IBS also be ruled out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
