What Causes Frequent Burning And Choking Sensation In Throat?
my mom is 90years old she is constantly burps for about 2hours none stop even after just drinking a little bit of water and wakes uu through the night choking then again burps for 2hours none stop but now i press under her stomac for a few seconds and it stops but keeps starting no matter what she eats or drinks she d,ont drink or eat anything acid but by then she hardly coud eat much i had to get her insure and the little bit she eats i boil .consulted doc say extrays are normal some more test to go through but they are not shure what it could do . please help thank you

I would advise her for an X ray chest and endoscopy if need be. Meanwhile please follow these guidelines Ask her to have small and frequent eating You can give her anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or ranitidine group of drugs with antacids for 5 to 7 days Give her plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables Ask her not to lie down immediately after eating
