What Causes Frequent Clearing Of Throat And Urge To Urinate?

I always have to clear my throat in the morning and sometimes during to day. I have no allergies that I m aware3 of. I clear my throat throughout the night while I m sleeping which interrupts my sleep. Its like having phlem in my throat. Is there anything I can do? Plus I urinate quite often. I get up 4 and 5 times a night to urinate. I have a urgency to go quite often. Any suggestions for either?

i have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to GERD (gastro esophageal reflux). For this taking proton pump inhibitors like Esomeprazole (Nexium) for long term and adjustments in diet will be helpful.
Take light meals at short intervals. Avoid spicy , greasy , fatty , fried and junk foods. Carbonated drinks , coffee , smoking and alcohol should be avoided. Take dinner 2 to 3 hours before bed time. Elevate head end more with adequate pillows. If there is no improvement the consultation with gastro enterologist should e done.
Frequent urination can be due to prostate problems like benign prostate enlargement (BPH). What is your current age? Ultrasound examination will be helpful to rule out this. In case of BPH taking alpha blockers will be helpful.
