What Causes Frequent Diarrhea After Taking Augmentin And Clavam?

I have been on augumentin clav since last Monday, the 12th of sept. I started having diareaha since this past Saturday, and sunday it got worse, today the 22nd of sept. I did not take this medicine any more, I had two left., I still have a bout of very loose diareaha, ( not spelt right) how long will it take to get the medicine out of my system.. the itch and burning from this is to much for me...

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What diarrhoea you are experiencing is side effect with use of antibiotics.
Kindly do the following to overcome the same.
1. Take Tablet or Powder containing Lactobacillus twice daily till you finish the prescribed course of antibiotics.
2. Include in your diet curds and probiotics.
3. Improve on intake of fluids during this period to keep yourself well hydrated.
Gradually, your symptoms should subside and you should get better.
