What Causes Frequent Diarrhea And Painful Bowel Movements?

I have frequent diarrhea with no bleeding or pain, very watery and light in color. I have a good appetite but after eating, I m in the bathroom almost immediately. This has been going on for over a week. I thought I had picked up a stomach bug and it would pass but it has not and now I believe have developed hemorrhoids or it is painful when I go. I do not know what it is or who to see to find out what it is. I am a diabetic and have a history of pancreatitis.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The most common indication is the underlying intestine infection. A primary evaluation with a stool microscopy is a must to get the best management guidelines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Purva Patel
