What Causes Frequent Diarrhea When With A History Of Having Hysterectomy?
I have had for many years problems with constant diarehha . I had a historectomy when I was 36 and the surgeon that I had a whole lot of endrometeris in my intestine and in my uterus. He said he had to take a rather amount of my intestines to prevent having to put me on a bag at my then young age. I am now 71 and my problem so bad that I dare not get out of a our house or we go where I can sit close to a restroom. Do you know of any physician that be able to help me. I need assistance and information but I do not know what kind of doctor I lie in Jasper, TX which is about 70 miles of Beaumont Texas. Thanks for any help you can give. Janice Lanier YYYY@YYYY
The chronic diarrhea with past history of hysterectomy with endometriosis suggest rectal endometriosis most likely. In my clinic, after per abdomen, per rectal examination thoroughly, I do recommend a CT scan of the abdomen & pelvis with oral contrast to delineate the details of the underlying condition and guide accordingly.
