What Causes Frequent Dizziness?

Hello - my name is Lisa I m 41 I ve been having several dizzy spells over past 3 days...today they were frequent. I ve recently been on a plane in the last 24 hrs for a vacation. My daily routine is back to normal for myself. I have no current medical conditions that I am aware. I have not been sick with a cold/flu either. No allergies no ear infections. What could be some possible reasons for this condition?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Dizziness is commonly caused by Anemia, blood pressure issues (both high or low bp may cause dizziness), Vertigo. Dehydration, hypoglycemia, stress or anxiety are the other dizziness causing factors.

Stay away from addictions if any, keep yourself well hydrated & get a physical checkup done at the earliest at the ER to rule out blood pressure & blood sugar issues.

Vertigo is a cause of dizziness, get audiometry test done & ear examined to be on the safer side. If Vertigo is detected you will need immediate medications & treatment.

If diabetic keep your blood sugar levels under control. Avoid anxiety & stress.

Take homemade nutritious food rich in iron, calcium & minerals. Take green leafy veggies & berries.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
