Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of frequent dryness and redness in the throat which seems to be due to lowered down of immunity because of upper respiratory tract infection.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

Do gargles with warm saline rinses and take combination of decongestants and multivitamin tablet. You should avoid touching eyes, nose again and again. Drink plenty of fluids. Take proper course of antibiotics along with anti-inflammatory medications. Your symptoms will resolve in 5-7 days. If your symptoms keeps on persisting the visit ENT specialist once and get complete examination done. You should get blood and throat swab tests done. Start treatment after complete examination. You should take throat lozenges.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
