What Causes Frequent Fever While On Medication For Raynaud S Disease?

my friend 57 yr old woman has Reynauds disease. She has been prescribed folitrax injection50mg 25 units once a week/ emset8mg/ folinic acid/medrol 10mg/folvite5mg am lodopine10mg tadalafil rosuvan ecosprin pantacid pilomax She frequenly gets high fever with intense shivering and nausea. why does she get fever frequently? Is she suffering from any other disease or is fever common in Reynauds disease. Kindly advise. Is her condition serius as she seems extremely frightened of her health condition?

Hi,

The cause of fever need through evaluation, Raynaud's disease or the treatment for condition is less likely to cause high fever. The symptoms requires urgent evaluation by a general physician. The symptoms are evaluated under as pyrexia of unknown origin; complete blood panel, metabolic profile, possible parasitic infestation are considered as differential diagnosis.
