What Causes Frequent Headache During Pregnancy?

I am around 12 weeks pregnant and have been taking ecosprin 75 and clexane 20mg(ana positive). I am having non stop headache since 5 days. I am taking crocin 650 which relieves the pain somewhat but not completely. I havent been able to understand why is this headache so prolonged. This is happening to me first time in life. Earlier i used to get headaches but after nights sleep they used to be all gone.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Headache in pregnancy must be evaluated thoroughly as it can be a sign of eclampsia.

Consult a gynecologist at the earliest and get evaluated. You have to check your blood pressure, and investigations to detect eclampsia must be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
