What Causes Frequent Moving Headaches?

my boyfriend has frequent headaches, sometimes he feels them move from one area of his head to another, earlier he thought he had been bit by a bug or had a pimple above the eyebrow that wasn t visible because when he pushed on the area it hurt pretty bad and then a few hours later he felt it move to his temple and now a small lump is inside his temple which is smaller than a pea. what could this be?

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Generally that type of changing headache is not related to any serious disorder. Most probable cause is tension type headache, the most common primary headache (primary meaning no identifiable cause), often triggered or exacerbated by stress and anxiety. Over the counter painkillers like Ibuprofen are usually effective in relieving symptoms.

I hope to have been of help.
