What Causes Frequent Nightmares?

Im 20 years old five foot one about 135 pounds i have been having frequent nightmares for over a month now and they are just getting worse usually they are multiple a night and every night i have looked up what can cause it but im not under alot of stress or on a meds so i really dont know what to do

I understand your concern.

Nightmares are normal and it is depend upon many things.

Better treatment is to avoid thinking and not to remember dreams

I prefer low dose of benzodiazapine like lorazepam in my patients if dreams are more trouble some.
