my child 8 y.o. just had nosebleed again, her 2nd for today. she frequently have nosebleed at least once a month. she is sick right now, has fever, cough and complains of stomach pains. her urinalysis and blood test are ok according to her pedia. stool exam has not been taken yet. she was given montemax, vit c 500mg, 10ml paracetamol. i am more concern on what causes her frequent nosebleedibg. should i be alarmed? what do i need to do? thanks for your help...
Hello. I see see a lot of childrens like yours in my clinic. In 99% of tham i finded out that there are some small vassels in the nose that can be demaged very often. There is a small procedure that an ENT doctor can do to stop nosebleeding using Nitrat Argent or cauterization of the vassels with Radiofrequency.
