my mother has been having chest pains and neck pain it comes and goes but lately it has been getting worse she is starting to feel weak and feels nausea at times could this be a sign of a heart attack. she has gone to a heart doctor told she has a small leak in her heart nothing to be concerned her headaches got mri told her she has otherathis but why is that pain getting more intense could it be sign of heart attack
Hello Dear. It looks like your mother has signs of angina which is caused due to narrowing of blood vessels of heart and pain. Kindly consult the cardiologist again who may take an ECG and also do tests like -ECHO, TMT etc. This may worsen and lead to heart attack if not taken care of.
Also get Cholesterol levels, Sugar levels checked and take medications regularly without fail
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
