What Causes Frequent Pain In The Eyes And Temples?
I have been experiencing frequent pain in my eyes and in my temples on and off for about 2 months The pain is at low levels,2-3 on a 10 scale and generally lasts for from several minutes to , in 2 extreme cases overnight I went to my internest after the first overnight episode(it had ceased by the time I went there the next day) She said it sounded like a pressure headache and that if should happen again I should go the emergency room It happened again about 4 days ago. Ihave an appointment on Monday with the same Dr I think I ought to see a neurologist. I have no other symptoms like lightheadedness or loss of balance, although I did get sick to my stomach on those 2 occassions
You need an elaborate neurological examination and ophthalmologist consultation and work up in the form of CT-Head and orbit, test for refraction, vision, visual acuity and relevant MRI. Take NSAID like Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen and paracetamol for pain relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
