Hello, My sons have been diagnosed with epilepsy. One has primary seizures on right side of brain. My other son has right vocal chronic tonic seizures which he has an Ora and start at right side and moves to left side with a full blown seizure a curling. My question is would be an infection or something else? My husbands side has a second and third cousin that has epilepsy but is that to far out to be heridatary?

Hi dear...No this is usually a hereditary condition but unlikely due to infection.
However there is a chance of the incidence of these seizures limiting themselves to a certain age.Childhood epilepsy lasts for ten years or so and is self limited to that period.
So continue the medication for the kids that are prescribed daer
Take care.
